Turn sideways scans and upside-down sheets in 90° steps. Rotation is added on top of whatever rotation the page already carried.
What the thumbnail shows is what the downloaded PDF shows.
How to use it
- Pick one PDF.
- Click the pages to turn. “Select all” takes every page at once.
- Press “Rotate 90° left” or “Rotate 90° right”. Pressing again accumulates to 180° and 270°.
- If you overshoot, “Undo rotation” returns those pages to their original orientation.
- Press “Download the new PDF” to save the rotated file.
Examples
-
One sideways scan
Select that page and press “Rotate 90° right” to stand it upright. The card shows a 90° badge.
-
A whole document upside down
Use “Select all”, then press a 90° rotation twice to reach 180°.
-
A page that already had 90° rotation
Adding 90° right to a page whose stored rotation was already 90° gives 180°. The original value is added to, not overwritten.
Questions
Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle such as 45°?
No. A PDF page rotation property only takes quarter turns, so 90°, 180° and 270° are the options.
Does rotating re-render the page and lose quality?
No. The page content is not redrawn; only the page’s rotation property changes. Text and images keep their original resolution.
Could a viewer show the rotation differently?
The standard rotation property is used, so ordinary viewers agree. Identical results on every viewer and every device cannot be guaranteed, so for important print jobs check once in the viewer you will actually use.
